Our Story
Where Learning Meets Celebration
While Bridging Excellence Education tuition centre opened its doors in 2023, the seeds of our vision were planted much earlier, in 2010.
Our Co-Founder, Lawren, often welcomed friends into his home while they prepared for their SPM exams. Living with his grandparents, he had the space and the freedom to have his friends come over. One memorable day, as he was helping a friend understand how to approach an essay question in Sejarah, he witnessed a moment of transformation. His friend, who had felt overwhelmed, suddenly realised that answering exam questions wasn’t as daunting as he had thought. In that instant, Lawren experienced his own epiphany
He was not inherently smarter than his friend
He had simply been more fortunate to have access to tutors and family support.
Many students faced similar struggles
often labelled as ‘stupid’ or ‘lazy’ simply because they lacked guidance.
Countless talents were slipping through the cracks
in Malaysia, lost because students didn’t receive the help they needed to excel.
These realisations ignited a passion in Lawren — he knew he wanted to make a difference in the education sector.
2019

2020
Brayden had always aspired to be an educator, but, being the realist that he is (with Asian parents), he understood the importance of having a backup plan. While completing his degree in Accounting, he took on tutoring roles for primary and secondary school students. This experience not only honed his skills as an educator but also allowed him to pursue a more traditional career path.
2021
In 2021, after graduating, Brayden made the bold decision to dedicate himself to teaching full-time. It was in the same year that he and Lawren crossed paths. Despite their differences—Lawren, the dreamer, and Brayden, the builder—both shared a common ambition: to help teenagers realise their dreams through education. However, it wasn’t until they connected in 2023 that they discovered their shared mission.
2023
They launched their first branch tuition centre in Sungai Ara, and the enthusiastic response from the community, along with the invaluable experiences gained in that first year, inspired them to expand. Soon after, they opened a second branch in Jelutong, determined to serve more communities, one location at a time, while remaining steadfast in their mission to empower students.
